A new day....First of all everyone is healthy......Two days of 9 hours of work are past and sheetrock is hung, roofs completed, and some restoration of floor foundations have been completed....2 of the work teams were treated to southern hospitality with bbq and the fixins...these are very thankful people....this morning ron and dante and their two teams headed to new home sites since they completed their two roofing jobs....the devotion times have been rich and our youth continue to inspire all of us to give our best.....continue to pray for all of us as we continue to help put homes and lives back together again....the weather has been hot but bearable....we worked so long yesterday that we passed on the fireworks, these youth want to work, they do not need any frills....tomorrow is the last full day on the job so I may not be able to get to a computer for a report but we will be home friday night, thanks again for all the mail that has been coming this way.....thanks fbca....

This morning had a very early start as we try to beat the heat of the 4th of July in south Alabama....Yesterday was a great day as all five of our work teams got started on the rebuilding of their homes....Donna Lewis led a team in Pascagoula that will roof, do interior work and hang doors throughout the week....the family is the Potts family and they have several children "helping out"...our hope is to get them out of the fema trailer in the front yard and in to their home....Ron Gortney led a team to Moss Point, Mississippi to roof a home for the McCollum family....James Patterson is a very hard worker as is this whole team....this family always wants to feed them as they work....a third team is in Moss Point, Mississippi doing sheet rock and ceiling work, Mitch Price and James Carroll are very good teachers and the youth are learning skills to use a life time....Bertha Burns appreciates their work and wants to get back in her home......Dante Broadway has a roofing team in St Elmo , Alabama and it is hot.....this bunch is working hard to put a roof over the Malone's family head....Bob Galloway is leading his team at Bayou laBatre to redo an entire floor, they are having to dig out, redo foundation, the whole works....the Harris family of the bayou are pleased with the progress....the whole FBCA team is doing great, as they fix their own meals, sleep in close quarters, and pray and play together.....the prayer partner letters and fresh baked goods and walmart gift cards for water have been wonderful....it is fun to go to the mailbox....thanks again and you would be proud of the reputation that the mission team is building and the homes they are rebuilding....to God be the glory.....Roy
